Right Side Difference
We have the seen that Address and Impact are different. We discussed the difference as related to the top and the front. We will now speak to the difference between Address and Impact from the right side (the-down-the-line view). The most significant changes are:
1.The right forearm is lower at Impact than address. The right forearm is on-plane. The line of the forearm points at the planeline. The planeline for straight shots is parallel to the targetline. It is about an inch inside the sweetspot.

2.The right shoulder is lower at Impact than Address. The lowering of the right shoulder allows the right arm to be bent at Impact. The more bent the right arm is at Impact the more powerful the shot. As long as , the left arm maintains its full radius (straight).

You have probably already realized that the right shoulder must be lower to allow the right forearm to lay on the plane. You can also see that right arm is essentially on the same plane as the clubshaft. That was not true at address.

So, remember to get to Impact effectively you must lower your rightside. That is done in the tilting of the back. Since you have lowered your rightside you can get your hands past the ball for Impact. Proper impact requires that your hands be beyond the ball. There are three important conditions to be establish for impact:

    1. Your wrists must be supple.

    2. Your arms must hang freely from your shoulder sockets.

    3. Your head must be even or behind the ball at impact.

If these conditions are met it is impossible for a player to have the hands too far forward for impact.

One other thing which should be considered. A bottomline issue is that good strikers get their rightside through and poor strikers do not. Which is why better striker finished balanced standing on their left leg and less effective strikers don't. As the right forearm get closer to being onplane the more likely it is that the golfer will finish.
